Yunhee Chang, Jinhee Kim, Swarn Chatterjee - This study examines the effect of SNAP dollars on nutritional quality of acquired foods, subjective dietary status, and obesity. This study also investigates whether the effect of SNAP dollars on dietary practices of households is different from that of income from other sources. Data from the recently released National Household Food Acquisition and Purchase Survey (FoodAPS) is analyzed for this study.
